Sample implementation plan

A controlled pilot before broader adoption.

This sample 10-week plan shows how NEXT can be tested without treating a pilot as proof of long-term social outcomes. Exact timing and responsibilities are agreed with each organization.

1

Readiness and fit

Weeks 0–1

Confirm population, program goals, exclusions, safeguarding lead, privacy roles, accessibility needs, success measures and decision authority.

Output: Signed scope, responsibility matrix and data-minimization plan.

2

Configuration

Weeks 1–2

Configure organization workspace, staff roles, cohort, pathway mix, reporting fields and participant-facing information.

Output: Configured pilot workspace and implementation checklist.

3

Staff orientation

Week 2

Train staff on assignments, progress review, accessibility support, incident routes, AI boundaries and what information must not be entered.

Output: Staff readiness confirmation and support contacts.

4

Baseline learning measures

Week 3

Use agreed skill or knowledge measures relevant to assigned pathways. Do not treat these as clinical, legal-risk or employability diagnoses.

Output: Documented starting-point learning measures.

5

Pilot delivery

Weeks 3–9

Learners complete assigned modules between human support touchpoints. Staff monitor participation and provide accommodations or assistance.

Output: Activity, completion, knowledge-check and support records.

6

Review and closeout

Week 10

Review observed learning activity, staff workflow, accessibility barriers, learner feedback, incidents and limitations.

Output: Implementation and learning-activity report with recommendations.

Go/no-go criteria

Expansion should depend on acceptable privacy and safeguarding controls, usable staff workflow, accessible learner participation, reliable reporting and evidence that the assigned learning is appropriate. A pilot can also conclude that NEXT is not suitable for a population or workflow.
