A sample week with BritePath
Illustrative example for a fictional Grade 4 learner in Ontario, with ten hours available each week and a CAD 50 resource budget. This is an example of the format, not a client result or a complete curriculum plan.
Learning priorities
Practise multiplication strategies, explain the main idea of a short text, and keep observations from a simple plant-growth investigation.
| Day | Core work | Practical work | Record |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Multiplication arrays; read a short text | Start a plant observation journal | One worked example and initial sketch |
| Tuesday | Equal groups; identify the main idea | Library reading and outdoor activity | Two-sentence summary |
| Wednesday | Compare strategies; supporting details | Measure and sketch the plant | Explain the chosen strategy |
| Thursday | Mixed practice; write a paragraph | Make a simple observation table | Paragraph draft and measurements |
| Friday | Review two difficult examples | Share findings and choose next week’s goal | Parent reflection and learner goal |
Resources and adjustments
Use library books, paper, household objects and a seed or existing plant. Keep purchased resources within the stated budget. If a task is too difficult, shorten the text or demonstrate one example together; if it is easy, ask the learner to explain another approach.
What a full package adds
The package’s six- or twelve-week sequence, learner-specific priorities, a resource list and the included revisions. Parents remain responsible for instruction, content review and any required local records.
