Clear boundaries before implementation.

BriteLink EDU is being built for institutional use. This page summarizes the current product approach to access, data, AI, reporting and implementation responsibility without claiming certifications or compliance that have not been independently established.

Data boundaries

BriteLink EDU stores organization, cohort, learner, assignment, progress and assessment records needed to deliver and report on learning. The platform is not intended to become a clinical record, probation/parole record, legal case file or benefits-administration system.

Access controls

Institutional records use organization-scoped permissions and role-based staff access. Learner access is linked to the learner record rather than exposing organization-wide information.

Data minimization

Programs should collect only information needed for delivery, learning and reporting. Sensitive case details should remain in the organization’s appropriate case-management or records system.

AI use

AI-assisted program configuration is designed to propose learning structures from program objectives. Staff remain responsible for review and approval. BriteLink does not present AI-generated content as funding approval, legal advice or guaranteed program outcomes.

Outcome reporting

Reports describe evidence recorded in BriteLink EDU, such as participation, completion, assessments and mapped competency evidence. They do not by themselves establish causation for employment, recidivism, housing, health or other external outcomes.

Accessibility approach

BriteLink is designed around clear structure, responsive layouts and adaptable delivery. Formal accessibility conformance should not be assumed unless independently tested and documented for the applicable standard and release.

Legal-information boundary

Where a learning module covers justice or legal-system information, it is general educational information only. Individual legal interpretation should be handled by a qualified legal service.

Implementation responsibility

Partner organizations remain responsible for their own consent, privacy, records-retention, accommodation, safeguarding and regulatory obligations. BriteLink product controls support delivery but do not replace those responsibilities.

For procurement or privacy review

BriteLink can provide current architecture, data-flow and implementation details for a prospective partner’s review. Security certifications, legal opinions or accessibility attestations are not represented unless separately documented.
